Coffee Origin
This coffee is sourced through Kenya's renowned open auction system, part of the Nairobi Coffee Exchange, which has become one of the most respected coffee marketplaces in the world. The system promotes transparency and rewards quality, helping Kenyan coffee farmers receive strong premiums for exceptional coffee production.
Much of Kenya's finest coffee is grown in the fertile highlands surrounding Mount Kenya, where rich volcanic soils, ideal elevations, and favorable growing conditions contribute to the development of complex and distinctive flavor profiles. Kenyan coffee farms are often remarkably small, allowing producers to carefully manage every stage of cultivation and harvest.
After harvest, coffee cherries are processed at local wet mills that utilize abundant fresh water and meticulous washing techniques. These high-end processing methods help create the bright fruit notes, vibrant acidity, and exceptional clarity that have become the hallmark characteristics of world-class Kenyan coffee.
