Coffee Origin
This coffee is produced by Cooperative Entre Ríos, a group of dedicated smallholder coffee farmers located in the renowned San Marcos region of Guatemala. Founded in 2009, the cooperative was established on a shared commitment to collaboration, quality improvement, and sustainable coffee production.
In 2018, Cooperative Entre Ríos took an important step forward by becoming fully independent, electing its own leadership and securing certification under its own organization. This transition gave members greater control over their future while strengthening the cooperative's ability to support its farming families and improve coffee quality.
A key factor in the cooperative's continued success has been its long-term partnership with Los Volcanes Coffee, which has provided reliable market access and stable purchasing opportunities. This relationship has helped create economic stability for cooperative members while rewarding their dedication to producing exceptional organic specialty coffee. Today, Cooperative Entre Ríos continues to showcase the quality and craftsmanship that have made Guatemalan coffees respected throughout the world.
