Flavor Experience
Organic Guatemala SHB Huehuetenango is a vibrant single-origin Guatemalan coffee showcasing the sweetness and fruit character for which the Huehuetenango region is celebrated. In the cup, you'll discover bright tangerine, delicate honey sweetness, and ripe apricot, creating a balanced and expressive coffee with a clean, refreshing finish.
The fully washed process enhances clarity and structure while allowing the coffee's natural citrus, stone-fruit, and honey-like sweetness to shine. Grown in the high-elevation mountains of western Guatemala, these dense SHB coffee beans develop slowly in cooler growing conditions, contributing to a layered and refined flavor profile.
Whether enjoyed as pour over coffee, drip coffee, French press, or espresso, these freshly roasted Guatemala coffee beans offer a versatile and distinctive expression of Huehuetenango specialty coffee.

Coffee Origin
This organic coffee comes from ASOBAGRI (Asociación Barillense de Agricultores), a cooperative of smallholder farmers in Guatemala's renowned Huehuetenango coffee-growing region. Surrounded by the Cuchumatanes Mountains and the Maxbal Forest Reserve, this remote region is home to generations of coffee producers and Indigenous communities with deeply rooted agricultural traditions.
ASOBAGRI was founded in 1989 by a small group of Mayan coffee and cardamom farmers and has since grown into a significant cooperative connecting smallholder producers throughout Huehuetenango with the international specialty coffee market. Its members cultivate and harvest coffee on small family farms, with many producers managing their own micromills.
Coffee is grown beneath a diverse shade canopy that includes guava, plantain, and banana trees. ASOBAGRI also works with its members to encourage sustainable and organic agricultural practices while supporting the long-term health of the farms and surrounding environment.
Beyond coffee production, the cooperative works to strengthen its farming communities and promote greater opportunities for its members, including efforts toward gender equality within the organization. Combined with careful fully washed processing, these growing practices
