Coffee Origin

This coffee comes from Hacienda La Amistad in Coto Brus, Costa Rica, a family-owned farm operated by third-generation coffee producer Roberto Montero. Located near La Amistad International Park, the largest protected natural reserve in Central America, the estate is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and sustainable coffee production.

While only a small portion of the property is dedicated to coffee cultivation, thousands of hectares remain preserved as protected forest habitat rich with native wildlife. Alongside organic farming practices, Hacienda La Amistad invests in its local community by providing employment opportunities, supporting seasonal harvest workers and their families, and contributing educational resources for local children. This commitment to sustainability, conservation, and community development is reflected in every cup of coffee produced on the farm.
